Meet The Team
Pastor Ryan Garner
Lead Pastor
Pastor Ryan Garner was born in Franklin, IN. Having been a pastor's kid, he has had the opportunity to have lived in Kentucky and Illinois as well. He graduated from Olivet University with a B.A. in Religion. It was there that he met Andrea and they were married before their last year of school. They pastored in Fairbury and Streator, Illinois early in their ministry. In 2003, Ryan served as district NYI President for two districts. In 2011, they joined 7 other families from Illinois and moved to the Indianapolis area to plan Second Chance Church of the Nazarene. He and his wife have served there in many ways, most recently as the Executive Pastor.

Ryan and Andrea are blessed with 4 children. Ramsey has graduated high school and is attending Lincoln Tech in preparation of becoming an electrician. He enjoys playing xbox with his friends when he isn't working or going to class. Alexandrea (Alex) is in her junior year at Plainfield High School. She is a part of the marching band, playing in the front ensemble. Kaylee is in her freshman year at Plainfield High School. She plays cello in the orchestra. Samantha (Sami) is in her 5th grade year. She enjoys playing outside.

Lynn Freeland
Office Administrator
Lynn and her husband, Dave, have been married for over 40 years. They have 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. Lynn has served APCN as Office Manager for over 25 years and she considers it more than a job, it’s also her ministry. In her free time, Lynn enjoys cruising with her husband, spending time with her “grands” and their parents, reading, sewing, crocheting, attempting to play golf, and hanging out with her friends.
Dr. Abraham Athialy
Counseling Pastor
Dr. Athialy (M.A., M.Div., M.Th., D.Min) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Pastoral Counselor. He is the founder of Avon Christian Counseling Center (1999). Since opening their doors, the Avon Christian Counseling Center has helped thousands of families, couples, and people regain their freedom from the things that have prevented them from living a full and abundant life.
Jimmie Havens
Facilities Services
Jimmie has faithfully served the congregation at APCN for several years as our facilities services manager.
Jimmie is always willing to help however he can and does so with a contagious smile on his face!
